If you're turning left from Cyber Towers towards Kondapur....
There is another road that takes you to Kondapur without you having to go via CT. If you take the road opposite TCS and adjacent to the petrol pump, you will be able to bypass the jam at Cyber Towers. This road finally comes out near the Godrej CII building, just before the Satyam building near Jaybheri.

Hi,
point every nonsense reason for traffic jam is very easy, but somebody is thinking and acting :),I appreciate this initiative, I am sure I will not be a last person to see this blog or support you.
Hari
I just came to know about your initiative and from the clues from friend, able to find the blog. Hats of to you guys for taking this steps. I personally follow traffic rules and appreciate if anybody does.
Yes, it is true most of the offenders at CT junctions are educated and so called high paid software engineers. If they do not maintain rules, they are below the level of a uneducated begger. (sorry for the language).
Keep the spirit flowing and I will do my best to canvas this.
cheers
in front of CT the nala or drainage canal should be covered so that there is way for pedestrians. donot know y they are not covering the nala or drainage.
it is really an eyesore.
there should be pelican and zebra crossings for pedestrians.
To take this road, one would still need to negotiate the troublesome signal at Cyber Towers...may as well take the left at CT itself.
Great initiative, I'll spread the word!
in continuation to my previous comment, where I promised to volunteer soon enough, I'd like to take the first step to do so.
I found your logo "Free the left lane" on this page. I hope there are no issues if I print it out and paste it on the car that we (my husband and myself) drive in everyday. This way more people get to know of the initiative across the city since we commute about 26km to get to work daily.
Joe
Please go ahead and print the logo. If more people know about this, the better the chances for this initiative to be successful.

Hi,
Great initiative buddy. As a fellow commuter on this stretch of road I fully understand the plight of folks trying to take a left and having to wait for the green light. One suggestion I have is to have a banner high on the divider near WIPRO instructing folks to choose their lane NOW so we start educating the "Educated".
Hi,
This is a kind of initiative that I had always thought about, but never had the courage to take it forward. I appreciate every effort that the team is making to regulate traffic.
I wish you good luck & hoping that this initiative could one day be expanded to the entire city.

unplanned growth always happens, no proper streamlining, chaotic traffic due to two wheelers, three wheelers, four wheelers, bicycles, and heavy vehicles.
the two wheelers and three wheelers always criss cross lanes add a lot of chaos
there should be separate lanes for all these vehicles.
with separate lanes there will be separate queues and traffic order can be achieved.
also count of vehicles can be done, to see that more number of vehicles clear the intersection
the traffic man's box should be removed from the intersection
all the above said can never be removed from traffic in hyderabad or any other indian city
I sincerely thank you for this blog and effort you have put.

Excellent initiative, not just to do something about the traffic, but to identify a simple and implementable rule. As someone suggested, a large banner indicating to get off the left lane about 100 metres from the intersection is a good idea.
Most importantly, if everyone chastens their own cab/personal drivers, it will go a long way in streamlining traffic.
Cheers
This is a great and bold initiative. This will definetly spread and educate the educated people about road safety. I always used to wonder why even the educated people in this city break the rules and have no road sense. If this initiative atleast makes the educated drivers realize the need for queing or staying in lanes to ensure smooth flow..the job would be more than half done in this city and one would see the number of fatal accidents come down significantly .
I would also like to be part of this initiative, actually it should be a self discipline, and its unfortunate that we need to push the people to drive this thought :-)
However, if this initiative enlightens them, it’s a tremendous achievement :-)
Your plan of putting hoardings near Madhapur hutch showroom is wonderful, small suggestion from my end; we can also put another hoarding near Madhapur petrol bunk and take left to go to Kukatpally [there is a 100ft road which will connect to the road which is opposite to the Cybertowers building] instead of going through Cyber towers
Talking of alternative roads, I had taken the road next to "Kedar towers/Birla soft" building that forks out finally opposite Cyber gateway and TCS rear gate. But the interesting part is that we parked the car at a friend's place near the Madhapur police station and walked down to office (TCS-Deccan Park). It was a good exercise and we reached office way before we would have if we drove down via the CT junction or had even taken a rick to CT and then to TCS. (But the only problem with this road is that it cannot be used by vehicles with the bad shape that it is in currently.) I'm happy I contributed to reducing the traffic by leaving one car less to jam the road.
Ciao
